Celebrating our 2 year anniversary as a record label, we’re excited to share our 10th release with this VOL.5 compilation representing the fast-paced playful Hard Groove / Techno sound of our Barcelona queer transfeminist electronic scene.

Opening the VA is a new addition to our collective : TTRRAACCAA, a producer/dj/singer/party organizer from Andalucia and a staple of the club pop scene of our city. After 2 self-released albums “Depressed 24/7 but Always Down to Party” and “Party Monsters” and countless supercharged trancey edits of pop anthems, it was time to welcome his playful brand of unapologetically celebratory queerness into the fold with “Thank U 4 Coming to Dance with Me’ built around a bouncy bass and catchy kid-like vocals.

Following is one of House of (S)PUNK resident artist Lola Kay. After fleeing Belarus’s dictatorship and finding safety and chosen family in Barcelona, she has made waves in the city with her acclaimed sets in the city's biggest clubs, smallest intimate queer raves and as a resident of the fetish party Kinyxx. Her debut EP has received support from Nene H, Trym, Volvox, Jasss, OTTA, Sina XX, Aisha, Ayako Mori and more, and we can't wait to see how many dancefloor this new more hypnotic track is gonna burn.

Third comes label-founder La Fraicheur and long time co-conspirator Leonard de Leonard, with a racing track blending Hard Groove and Acid Techno in a queer anthem for solidarity and a call for tightening the fabric of our community in the moment queerness gets comodified, appropriated and marketed as a product.

Half of AC2, Latvian-Catalan Kotik continues to dig deeper his solo groove with this upbeat unstoppable Hard House track with a touch of Trance and UK Garage exuding an old school feel showing his love and reverence for the sound of the early 2000.

Closing this VA is Störung, argentinian artist and founder of Shadowland, whose first track ever was publish in our past compilation, and who keeps presenting her sonic world to us best described as hard hitting melancholia. With grief and longing as core feelings from which to build her music, she shows the inherent duality of life between darkness and light.
